Key Technologies
Power Layer Carbon Face
A newly developed carbon face with inserted power layers increases both strength and repulsion. This improves face deflection while retaining a softer, more responsive feel at impact.
Friction Coating
The rough-feel face coating increases friction with the ball to help produce a straighter flight. It is also beneficial in damp or rainy playing conditions.
Back Sliding Weight
The rear sliding weight allows tuning across the head to influence directional tendency. Heel-side positioning facilitates catch, while toe-side positioning suppresses catch.
Trajectory Control System (T.C.S.)
Fine-tune loft, lie, and face angle to create your preferred ball flight. The T.C.S. sleeve allows loft adjustment up to ±1.5°.

Jointly developed with Mitsubishi Chemical, this shaft uses ultra-high modulus 70t cross carbon through the full length to improve stability, reduce blur at impact, and support stronger swings.
Performance Story
Robot test data in the product documents shows the Power Layer Carbon Face outperforming a same-thickness pure carbon face, with an increase of approximately 1.3 m/s in ball speed and about 5 yards in added distance.
In comparative robot testing, the TR-02 460MAX also showed higher total distance versus the previous TR-01 460.
